Developmental disabilities include Intellectual Disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, ADHD, Cerebral palsy, Epilepsy, and other conditions that occur during the developmental years, which are expected to be life-long and require the same types of intervention and support as intellectual disability. Guided by DBHDS and HCBS standards, services take place in fully integrated community settings and focus on inclusion, skill development, and relationship building. Supports are provided at a 1 to 3 staff ratio to ensure both individualized attention and peer interaction. Services provider are for 18 years or older . Participants enjoy structured outings such as parks, libraries, volunteer opportunities, restaurants, and local events while working on real life skills like communication, budgeting, and community navigation. Services are driven by each individual’s ISP and personal goals, with transportation included and flexible scheduling available. Sponsored Residential Services Sunny Haven’s Sponsored Residential Services offer adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities a safe, family style living option in private homes across Virginia. Through our network of screened and trained Providers, individuals receive 24 hour support in homes licensed under Sunny Haven’s DBHDS certification and aligned with Virginia regulations and HCBS standards. Each home supports no more than two individuals, allowing for personalized care, stability, and meaningful relationships. Services provider is for 18 years or older . Supports are guided by each person’s Individual Support Plan and may include assistance with daily living, medication administration, transportation, community involvement, and skill development. Homes receive ongoing oversight from dedicated Program Managers to ensure quality, safety, and person centered service delivery.
